AltBeing Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: April 2, 2026


1. Overview

This policy establishes minimum standardized rules for refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling across the AltBeing marketplace.


2. General Principles

  • Policies must be clear, fair, and transparent

  • Sellers may offer more flexible terms, but not stricter ones

  • All timelines are based on the buyer’s local time


3. Physical Products

Returns

  • Buyers may request returns within 14 days of delivery

Refund Eligibility

  • Item must be:

    • Unused

    • In original condition

Non-Refundable

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Perishable goods


4. Digital Products

Refunds

  • Generally non-refundable once accessed or downloaded

Exceptions

  • Corrupted or inaccessible files

  • Misrepresentation of product


5. Services (Coaching, Healing, etc.)

Cancellation

  • Full refund if canceled 24+ hours before session

Late Cancellation

  • Less than 24 hours → up to 50% refund

No-Show

  • No refund unless Seller chooses otherwise


6. Events, Workshops & Classes

Cancellation

  • Full refund if canceled 48+ hours before event

Late Cancellation

  • 24–48 hours → partial refund (up to 50%)

No-Show

  • No refund


7. Retreats

Cancellation

  • 14+ days → full refund (minus deposit if applicable)

  • 7–14 days → partial refund

  • Less than 7 days → no refund

Transfers

  • Sellers may allow ticket transfers


8. Seller Cancellations

If a Seller cancels:

  • Buyer receives full refund

  • Seller may face penalties


9. Disputes

  • Buyers should contact Sellers first

  • AltBeing may intervene if unresolved

  • Final decisions may be made at platform discretion


10. Processing Time

  • Refunds processed within 5–10 business days


11. Chargebacks

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension


This policy ensures consistency, fairness, and trust across AltBeing.
