1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AltBeing ("AltBeing,” "we,” "us,” or "our”). These Terms of Service ("Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AltBeing marketplace, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

AltBeing is an online marketplace that connects users ("Buyers”) with independent providers ("Sellers”) offering:

• Physical products
• Digital products
• Spiritual, wellness, and personal development services
• Events, workshops, and retreats

AltBeing is not a party to transactions between Buyers and Sellers, except as a payment facilitator where applicable.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

AltBeing reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.

5. Marketplace Roles & Responsibilities

A. Buyers

• Responsible for reviewing listings before purchase
• Responsible for payments and applicable taxes
• Must communicate respectfully with Sellers

B. Sellers

• Responsible for the accuracy of listings and representations
• Responsible for delivering products/services as described
• Responsible for compliance with applicable laws (including tax obligations where applicable)
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate licenses, certifications, or qualifications

C. AltBeing

• Provides the Platform infrastructure
• May facilitate payments through third-party providers
• Does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of offerings

6. Payments & Fees

• Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
• Buyers agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges
• Sellers agree to platform fees, commissions, and payout terms

AltBeing reserves the right to modify fees with notice.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

A. Seller Policies

• Each Seller may define their own:
  • Refund policy
  • Cancellation terms
  • Rescheduling rules

B. Platform Disputes

• AltBeing may assist in dispute resolution at its discretion
• Final responsibility lies between Buyer and Seller

C. No-Show & Late Cancellation

• Sellers may enforce no-show or late cancellation fees

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Misrepresent products or services
• Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload harmful or malicious content
• Circumvent platform fees or payment systems

9. Intellectual Property

• AltBeing retains all rights to the Platform, branding, and content
• Users retain ownership of their submitted content
• By posting content, you grant AltBeing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it

10. User Content

You are responsible for content you post, including:

• Listings
• Reviews
• Messages

Content must not:

• Be unlawful, harmful, or misleading
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Contain offensive or inappropriate material

AltBeing may remove content at its discretion.

11. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

AltBeing may host services related to:

• Spiritual guidance
• Energy healing (e.g., Reiki)
• Coaching and personal development

These services:

• Are not medical, psychological, or legal advice
• Should not replace professional healthcare or licensed services

Users assume full responsibility for their decisions and outcomes.

12. Events, Workshops & Retreats

• Participation is voluntary and at your own risk
• Sellers are responsible for event execution and safety
• Users agree to follow all event guidelines

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• AltBeing is not liable for:
  • User conduct
  • Seller performance
  • Product quality
  • Service outcomes
• AltBeing’s total liability shall not exceed:
  • The amount paid to AltBeing in the past 12 months

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AltBeing from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your interactions with other users

15. Termination

AltBeing may suspend or terminate access:

• For violations of these Terms
• For fraudulent or harmful activity
• At its discretion

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law
